Gold Country Brewers Assoc.
Present.
Brewday 2008 Part Deux
at
Rancho de Tubbs
The address is 13755 Beskeen Road, in Herald!!
( Directions below )
The weather this Saturday is supposed to be sunny and in the mid-80s. Perfect weather for taking a country drive down here to the little community of Herald and our GCBA April Brewday!
Come on down and enjoy the country air and relax in between pouring/stirring/heating/cooling/boiling/tasting/snacking, and just generally hanging out. We've got a small 2-acre place with plenty of brewspace, good clean well water, and this weekend only -- FREE self-guided tours in our 1928 Atcheson, Topeka, and Santa Fe caboose (okay, it's free every day...).
We're looking forward to seeing you!
Bill & Liz Tubbs

So, you say you never brewed before?
Now is a great time to learn. There will be this 45 gallon all-grain Brewery On A Trailer (BOAT), Plus many people will be bringing their own 5-10 gallon systems to brew stuff of their own!
Demonstrations of extract brewing, all grain brewing, and the ultimate homebrewers wet dream,
B.O.A.T
Brewery on a Trailer
45 gallon Mobile Brewery.

What do I need to bring?
Bring yourself, your spouse, your kids, This is a family friendly event! This is a pot luck, so bring some food and some beer to share.
Highway 99 to Highway 104 (Twin Cities Road). East on Twin Cities road about 10 miles to Clay Station Road (ignore Clay Station on the left... go a little further and take Clay Station on the right). South on Clay Station Road to where it seems to dead end -- Clay Station goes to the right, BESKEEN ROAD goes to the left. Turn left! Continue East on Beskeen for about a mile or so until you see a Scottish flag (blue with a white diagonal cross) on the left-hand side. Turn in the driveway and park.
